Homelink Finance partnered with the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) in the Micro- Enterprises Section for the Harare Agricultural Show which ran from the 27th of August to the 1st of September 2018 under the theme “Field to Industry, Produce- Connect- Develop”.
The section draws talent from across the country wherein mostly women and children between the ages of 10 and 19 show case their expertise in the various categories. With the assistance of Homelink a sizeable number of women from Matabeleland North and South for the very first time were part of the exhibition.
Homelink Finance in its financial inclusion drive has emerged as a strategic partner to the Micro, Small to medium enterprises and has taken the initiative of providing easily accessible and affordable financial services. The organisation is committed to grow the economy via empowering the micro industries and linking them to local and export markets.
The drive is for individuals to participate in economic activity, own and control productive assets which in turn lead to development, instead of searching for employment, they create opportunities that address the unemployment.” Homelink has taken note of lack of financial support for the micro industries through the traditional lending institutions and addressed the gap through affordable funding.
